This will be one where I get to know Rick Stone a bit better.

I hope to see something like this

1 Kurt Gidley
2 James McManus
3 Junior Sau
4 Adam MacDougall
5 Cooper Vuna
6 Jarrod Mullen
7 Scott Dureau
8 Mark Taufua
9 Isaac De Gois
10 Chris Houston
11 Steve Simpson
12 Zeb Taia
13 Matt Hilder
--
14 Cory Paterson
15 Sione Tovo
16 Richie Fa'aoso
17 Danny Wicks

Possibly best team on paper this year IMO.

--
18 Tim Natusch
19 George Ndaira
20 Keith Lulia
21 Marvin Karawana
.
.
.
5327 Wes Naiqama

I'm sure you get the drift of it..

Oh this is going to be good.

Rogers will get suspended, SuperSub will come into a side that will go in as favourite playing at home against Penrith, we'll beat the Panthers and make the 8 in a game we expect to win, and Dureau will be fawned over and hailed as the second coming of Christ for his catch and pass and kick display of limited skill averageness that allowed Mullen to play a blinder.

There'll then be a discussion about how the Sub outplayed Walsh in a must win game even though the Sub's played about 2 games to Walsh's thousand all year, and then Roopy will start on how Dureau is just a born winner and how we're so much better with him in the team than Rogers. ( even though he's been our most consistent half over the last 10 weeks )

I'm seeing the future, and I'm starting to feel ill already.

If the NRL Judiciary has any heart, please save me from this imminent nightmare.

And then there'll be an uproar when Rogers - who misses a week due to suspension - then plays in our semi final over the Sub.

 As the weeks go on I am liking you more and more Karma.

I agree with most of what you have said barring the part I have bolded as I think that Rogers will be lucky to get away with less than a 3 week ban.

This week is gonna be a corker

Was just having a look at the judiciary results all year JW.

Postulating that Rogers gets charged with ' STRIKING ' , every players striking charge ended with a 1 week suspension ( except Gallen who has a pretty bad history when it comes to loading - he got 2 weeks ).

It will be 2 weeks at the most. I reckon he'll be looking at 1 for the striking with the early plea, and 2 if he is found guilty at the judiciary.

Anthony Watts did the same thing to Farah. He got a week.

Farah retaliated obviously at the next scrum and got nothing.

I hardly need to given the Sub hasn't been sighted for months on end.

But I know how the minds in here work.

We'll win as favourites, and Dureau will be hero, and Walsh will suck, and the world will align again, and everyone will completely neglect what has happened for the rest of 2009.

Oh but how sweet it will be a week later when Rogers/Mullen pair up in our semi final.

Bit ahead of yourself there I think. I do beleive though that our ups and downs this year have been due to more than who has partnered Mullen in the halves. In fact Mullen has a fair bit to do with how we have faired or rather how we have not faired. Rogers and Dureau cancell each other out. they have both been ordinary, and if you anylise it fairly they are as bad as each other, both have had good games and bad, both have done good things and bad things. Mullen is rapidly approaching the same questionable level of both of them, he has also had some shockers.

Fa'alongo got 7 weeks for striking Anasta (he had priors though) and I see the 2 incidents as being pretty similar.

Anthony Watts started swinging at Robbie Farah in the scrum for no reason.

He landed punches on Farah's chin in a one way attack.

That was termed striking, and I'm not sure the Rogers incident could be seen as anything but?

Faalogo copped 7 weeks.

Oi, dont lump us all in under the "pro-Dureau" banner mate ;-). I dont like Rogers at 5/8 (on the bench in the back row rotation is my opinion) but Scotty has proven to be incapable of taking the next step.

Im more inclinded to think that we need to leave Mullo at half and find us a good long kicking 5/8, rather than a replacement half back.

If that team is named, with the exception of Patto in for Taia and Ndaira onto the bench, we will win. I guarantee it.

 It's been a while since I've seen the "annual" anti-Dureau post Karma, but it didn't take long for you to jump on that bandwagon and start rubbishing the bloke. Keep it coming champ.

lol @ anyone here who after everything that has happened this year, still thinks Dureau is a first grade quality halfback.

No , I really mean LOL.

My nightmare about this hack getting showered with praise for doing absolutely nothing in a win we EXPECT this weekend at HOME as FAVOURITES, is nothing compared to the nightmares the SUB will be experiencing about Frank Pritchard and Trent Waterhouse running at the turnstile all day.

Between Walsh and SuperSub this Sunday, if the amount of traffic going through both those turnstiles were electronically linked to the Knights turnstiles at the ground entrance, we'd end up setting a new ground attendance record.
