Starting to wish that i turned the radio off at half time... Newcastle had a lot of positives to take out of the first half of the game, but unfortunately they undid all of their hard work by letting Souths get within a whisker of a victory. Thaiday also looks like he would have been better off with an extra one or two weeks in premier league before returning to first grade.

Only thing left for Hagan to do is panic and rush Carmont and Tanner back into the side for next Friday nights game against the Sharks

That second half was apalling. We had it all over them for 40 minutes and the fell apart in the second half.

Neither Tighe or Abraham really put their handup either, so expect to see Tanner and Carmont back next week.

Thiady is a dead set pansy. Hardly ever runs the ball up himself bad ankle or not, tonight wasn't the first night where he palmed it off. Mullen was again good, was on par if not better than johns. Simpson was probably our best. Even though we were up 24-0 at half time the first half still was not that good, souths offered nothing in attack or defence. Does our team even realise that for and against will probably decide our fate in the top 8. We should have put souths to the sword and put 50 on them.

The knights performance was lazy. They do not seem to want roll up their sleeves for 80 minutes. If they miss out on the 8 on percentages, they only have themselves to blame for being a lazy football team. The knights just need to see the attitude the Cowboys had for the 80 minutes with only 14 fit players in the sencond half against the Broncos. It is this attitude that wins premierships.

Some of the positives was our new signing Uncle Fester who for once penetrated the defensive line. Perry, Mullen, Simmo and Gidley all played well.

I can see why Tighe has been in reggies all year, he was awful and Abraham did nothing except ball watch.

I was happier last week after the loss, at least I knew we stood up to the comp leaders. It is so frustrating that we are dishing out the same bulls**t peformances week after week!:x We will probably get hammered by the Sharks next week because it will be the same old thing, we have NO chance of winning the premiership. We did achieve one record as a team though, the only team Souths have held scoreless in a half of football all year
