He's obviously too good for reserve grade. His strengths see to that. Unfortunately his weaknesses make him a bit of a liability in first grade, or at least they did. Maybe he's improved his faults enough that he could be an asset in first grade?

He might've been our most explosive forward in 2013 (and might still be) but he was far from our best. Explosiveness is only a part of what makes up a forward's quality, however it seems to be the part the fans notice most.

Ricky Stuart himself described Tanginoa as the best forward that year. Coaches know so much more than us that we fans can't have an opposing opinion apparently. Are you going to go against the word of the coach? If not him then who was it that season?

So what are the weaknesses that are keeping him from getting a first grade spot? If he could play to his full potential he wouldn't be just a solid first grader he would be a real weapon.

He's proved to an error or 2 per game and an average reader in defence

thank goodness we have you here to point out our short comings as fans  none of us watch the game so could not possibly pick up on that. wait........don't you get your knowledge of footy from watching old tapes and reading statistics?

Ricky's too smart to tell the truth in all his public statements. Best that year would have been Mannah, as usual.

You'd have to ask the coaches that keep moving him on while under contract. To my untrained eye it seemed related to his work rate and lateral movement.

If he could play to his full potential he wouldn't be just a solid first grader he would be a real weapon.

I agree 100% but there are plent of players in reserve grade who fit that description. It's generally a player's weaknesses, especially in defence, that keep him out of first grade. And many fans don't understand why some plodder is in front of him in the pecking order.

I've watched Kelepi - Work rate is not a problem - Does plenty of work.

Perhaps defense - Errors you can get out of your game easy enough

Team of week - Rnd 5

11 – Kelepi Tanginoa (Wentworthville Magpies, second appearance)

Over 80 minutes, Tanginoa ran more times (20) than anyone else in Round 5 and was also the only player to crack 200 running metres (201). Two offloads and 11 supports prove he was exceptional in providing continuous pressure on the Warriors defence, which eventually led the Magpies to victory. Tanginoa is a big reason the Magpies are perched on top of the Intrust Super Premiership NSW Ladder.

With most of your posts, you have a penchant for bringing conflict to the table.
Why play the MAN when you can just as easily critique the subject material?
