Looked at stats from last game. Falou had 84 post contact meters of his 154.
While stomquist made 175mtrs for thr game.

Cool. Best range of stats anywhere, just shit organisation (individual PDF per game rather than any database function).

And I see Mason Cerruto carved up for Penrith.

amazing stats. Folau impressive post contact meters
I wonder if it came down to a choice between Niukore and Folau to take the edge forward spot vacated by the Chairman's injury, who would BA go for? Sounds like Folau has really found his groove in the backrow

It would suit him a lot better defensively, the slug.

Folau while struggling in defence at times at winger / centre, his biggest issue in my opinion was his lack of involvement!!

He was always a great runner of the ball.

At centre / wing he had too be fairly proactive to get involved however in the back row he has no choice but to take the ball up as most coaches have game plans that revolve around getting the back row involved in a few attacking "moves" during most sets.

Interesting to see Stromquist starting over Stone. Perhaps in the mix for our heavy injury tole in first grade.

If Stromquist turns out to be a late bloomer he could prove a very handy buy. I'd still be surprised if he did, but he certainly didn't lack potential

I presume he's only on a Wenty deal at the moment?

I wasn't there for the game since it is my old lady's birthday but having spoken to one of the forumites who was at the game, I dare say Stone's 'demotion' has more to do with the fact that he was flexed to the utility role to play hooker where he helped relieve Cody Nelson there.

Marata Niukore and George Jennings were the stand outs while Jeff Robson defended brilliantly.

I only saw the first half and it was a horrible half for both sides...

I thought stones work out of dummy half was quite tidy..

Vave, Marata and gennings were real solid
