I watched the first half and thought we struggled to hold them in the middle. Gower, Nelson and Ualesi were the only full timers in that middle pack.

Just like in first grade our edges looked strong. Interesting to see Fritchard on the right with Niukore on the left. We know Frank prefers the left side, where he's played most of his career, and Niukore has been playing right side all year for Wenty. I reckon Arthur's wants Fritchard in the 17 with Moeroa permanently in the middle.

They're clearly in BA's plans, as part of the 21 man/19 man squads heading into the finals.

Lol the refs just penalised Frank for a shoulder charge. Firstly it was Niukore, Frank was literally just standing there. Secondly it was a genuine tackle.

Just poor execution, while in been in forum f**kout land Robson has kicked straight into a player with men open outside him and Jennings has been thrown touch in goal by Gagan after Dargan arguably hit the wrong man.

Davis scores out wide. Nice passing in the middle creates the space and Tuha bursts through the line and shuffles it out for the try.

Davis nails a tremendous conversion kick, 12-0 Wenty.

Knights short kick off, crosses the plane of the ten so it's live, then the wind blows it back behind them almost to the 40m line and takes it dead. Knights scrum. Haha

Disappointing half tbh. We had loads of footy and loads of opportunity but looked really clunky and struggled to take advantage, Running into the breeze in the second half will be a problem only 8 points up.

Another chance blown...Tuha made a bust from a Pritchard (I think) offload, got mowed down. Shifted right, Folau too slow to get through a hole then Dargan put a kick in on the 4th with no chasers and put it dead in goal.

It's not a great game of footy.

Chasers let Dargan down there. Top little kick stood up deep in the in goal but the chase was poor.

As a result the Knights go the length and score a great try. Knights lock grubbers for himself, regathers, fools Tuha with a dummy and scores.

Four or five excellent sets in a row, everyone just eating metres followed by good kicks. Now a couple of penalties in the Newcastle 10m zone.

A shift right to Dargan who drops Aukafolau inside between two defenders, too big and strong and he scores under the sticks. We've really clicked into gear the last 10 minutes-ish since the try.
