Evans is a fair dinkum gimp and ba a fool for offering him 3 years. I don't buy Pau's injury excuses, the good players can come back after major injuries, look at Cleary.

Plus evans could still run and do plenty of gym work.

Pau is a fool for thinking Evans is a decent buy

He's only 26 and played plenty of first grade for a pretty good side. He also brings something we don't have much of, which is height and an offload. He's also a long way from top dollar.

The club wanted him to bulk up but it's not easy to do heavy weights with a broken arm. It was a very disrupted pre-season for him.

He's just a young (or stupid) bloke searching for answers to a complex and fairly opaque situation. I'm sure he means well.

They are born two months apart. Terepo has played a dozen more games for four fewer wins (started younger, at a worse club). I'd say Terepo is a better defender, but attacking talent is what costs money.

Interestingly, Peni Terepo scored four tries in 17 games in his first season (2013), and has only scored one since. Evans scored three in his first full season (2015) and hasn't scored since.

61 tackles with 4 missed I’m not surprised he fell off a few. His services looked great, better then all 3 combined but then again, it’s a matter of opinion!

Id like to see those stats. Questionable. Yes your right its a matter of opinion.
Stats sometimes tell a complete different story than watching a game.
Look at Woods for instance. Ask anyone and they will tell you he has been playing shit for 2018 season. Not consistent and alot of handling errors.
Yet look at his stats compared to every other front rower and he is ahead of them in
Offloads
Meters gained
Post contact meters
Tackles
Missed tackles.

So if and i mean if your stats are correct with Mahoney, Stats only tell your part of the game.
The rest is a matter of opinion.!
My opinion means nothing. Opinions are like assholes everyone has one.!
But i wasn't impressed with his service at all.
