22-10 FT. Bit of a nothing 2nd half. Parra controlled for 30 minutes but couldn't put points on the board, the one opportunity that magpies had they scored but for the most part couldn't get over halfway

He trained with them all week, didn't he? Pretty sure there were media reports...

Anyway, my point is Galvin's not worth the ridiculous amounts being talked up by Isaac in the media, and good luck to another club (Bulldogs?) if they're stupid enough to offer $1mil+.
He trained with the NRL team all week, they showed him training almost every day in the news reports

he’s not worth $1m. Gould has already come out and said he’d need to take far less to go to a good club like the dogs

Richo may be a dick, but he’s street smart. Knew that any offer would be rejected, so he put one which he wouldn’t have done in normal circumstances to stuff any suitors.

Galvis is decent with upside, but not a $1 million player yet, Gus has set his mark as usual. How someone who runs a footy club can continue use a media presence to make statements that try to influence the market and other clubs remain a stain allowed by the NRL.

The kid's young, and signed on a deal until end 2026, which he's rejected the chance to upgrade through his current club.

His next deal from 2027 should be a three year deal (to end 2029), at say $700-750. In the final year of that (season 2029) he'll be 23 turning 24, and should have been knocking on the door of rep teams (e.g. origin) to be worthy of offers of $1mil for his contract starting 2030 to whenever.

Will be interesting to see if any names from NRL side/bench get named in Cup, for the extra run/match fitness this Saturday.

I'd expect big Sam and Doorey (if not injured) and maybe Guymer (also if not inured) all to be named to build up some minutes and match fitness. Especially since someone has to fill Tuilagi's starting spot in NRL the following week.
