Well why didn't you simply make your point the first time, instead of attempting to troll your point...?

Could it be you're addicted to the troll lifestyle?
I thought I did make my point the first time. Unfortunately most merkins need everything spelled out for them. It’s been a learning experience for all of us.

My ‘trolling’ definitely has a point.
Nah... it lost it's point years ago.
It’s to illuminate the constant false narrative that every injury we get in the squad is somehow the fault of the current popular scapegoats.
What a load of self-referential strawman nonsense. No-one has claimed that in this thread. You're giving orange man a run for worst troll/liar ever...

No, you trolled your point... hence why you had to explain it. And hence the suggest to just straight up make your point like every other poster on here does.

Not really, not for all of us... Some of us sadly have to see your same old troll crap posted on here, day after day, week after week, month after month, season after season...

I noticed Ethyn Martin played for the Bears in reserve grade on the weekend.

I’ve always liked him, been unlucky with injuries since coming over from Rugby which stalled his development. When fit couldn’t even get a game for our Reggies this year even after being one our better players last season, we’d prefer to play the likes of Alfred Smalley etc

Best of luck to him

he only came back from a long term injury a few weeks back in a wenty side that got beaten by 50.

Yes correct against the reigning premiers in that comp.

Obviously someone at Nths has been keeping tabs on him and were confident enough to throw him straight into Reserve Grade. I watched him earlier in the season before he got injured and he was too good for RM, they couldn't tackle him.

Anyways he's a million to one to ever play first grade now but I always thought he had something a little bit of x-factor about him.

mmmm!! if he was drafted into a Bellamy system than I wouldn't rule it out.

I could be wrong but I think they get most of their second stringers in from QLD Cup?

I thought he was unlucky with injury last year when he tore his hammy otherwise I think he probably would of got a couple of games of first grade. He was miles ahead of Lorenzo who got a gig.

In the lower grades the defenders aren't as good and so there is a lot more open space. Speedy players like Ethyn Martin look great in that environment.

Thanks for that information Pou.

I can only judge on what I have seen mate and he was outperforming others at the level. He can also only play what's in front of him.

He is quick but never shies away from contact or the hard carries. No way am I saying he was anywhere near his ability but the way he moves is like Papenhuyzen. Plenty of good judges thought he was also too small early days (including the Storm until they gave him a run).

Anyways we have passed on him and I back the coaches they had seen enough of him where they didn't think there was a future. I will follow him with interest though.
