Big game at Kellyville, Norths were possibly better across the game, but Eels very plucky and stayed in the game and Twidle kicked a penalty goal from over 40 metres out in these conditions to win the game 32-30 as the hooter went.

Twidle and Volkman were very good, Mataele did a good job upfront, Wiremu willing but made a few mistakes. Louizou strangely was best of the 3/4s replacing Dunster from the start. Talataina defended well but possibly tried too hard with the ball, decent all the same.

Saxon Pryke carried off with a serious leg injury. Tago outjumped for a try , no surprise .

Good effort in strange conditions from sun, heavy rain, wind and rain to finish.
