Does anyone else think Bradley Avery sucks? Would much prefer Loizou in the team somewhere. I also quite like Vaivela from the little I have seen from him.

He’s not our first choice 1, he’s there because the 2 in front of him are injured or playing NRL.
to say a junior sucks is pretty shit tbh. He’s not out there pretending to be NRL level.
Btw in a team that was well outplayed he ran for over 200m, made 2 lines breaks and scored 2 tries.
If that’s the yardstick of “sucks” then our whole team sucks

Sure, it is harsh, but i believe theres better options.

He also made a ton of errors agaisnt the Tigers cup team, and couldnt make a tackle to save his life (30% missed tackle rate).

He’s the 3rd string fullback mate…. Thinking Loizou is the answer is funny when the bloke can’t make the cup team most of time despite his versatility in the backline

So I cant comment on him because hes the 3rd choice? I have seen more talent and production from Loizou than I have from Avery, hence my opinion. I wouldn't mind seeing Avery on the wing though, I know thats where he was playing for the Storm in their lower grades.

You can comment, but saying he sucks is stupidity. He’s actually being more productive than the players higher than him on the pecking order were doing.

loizou’s stats are pretty bog average, missing 30% of attempted tackles on the wing is shit poor, errors, and aside from 1 week, run metres substandard

And Loizou's not a fullback. You can stick an outside back at fullback and he might do a job, especially on kick returns and go forward. But the fullback needs to play a role in the spine, which is where you need little (or medium sized) merkins with footwork, vision and passing skill.

I disagree, but even so, I would only feel "comfortable" playing Joash at 1 or 6. Apa covers the whole backline besides halfback.

Joash is getting his chance. In 8 weeks we will know his level. We probably already do.
Twiddle is untapped. And shows promise. For that reason unless Joash explodes over the next 8 weeks then Twiddle gets the jump mostly to see if he sinks or swims
