Highlights first half

Tuavaki ex Manly game changed with his go forward
Musgrave improved as the game went on
Coachman is a goer but a bit behind his brother due to injuries

The not so good
Poor defence
Nick Lui Toso started ordinarily definitely not ready for 1sr grade
Backs are hot or cold no in-between

Defence from both sides is pretty ordinary. Musgrave & Burns have been solid. Tuitavake looks the goods, he runs hard and made some great runs when he was on. Couchman similar to his brother. Fifita has been dissapointing. He's a big body but just doesn't run hard, ala Sharon woods.

They are similar to the NRL side. You can see there is some talent there somewhere, but we seem to play with no structure in attack and no commitment in defence. Plus, the same dumb errors.

Totally agree, If the whole club trains as one then we do understand why there has been no structure anywhere, all grades need a total review on performances.

Hopefully Herring, R. Couchman, Tuitavake make their debuts this season. I think Vili needs time off with his sternum injury, hence why he looks disinterested to some.

Stewart could certainly be a first grader, but he needs proper coaching because he's got plenty of errors in his game. However, so does Sloan. Based on this game, Treigh gets involved plenty more than Tyrell.
