Stewart looks to be another budding fullback:
Dufty
Ramsey
Sloan
Schiller
Stewart

Who will be our long term fullback? Our outside back depth looks really good!

Hope they are all getting taught the full facets of Fullback play ( setting defences, positioning in defence, taking the high ball, chiming in, etc ) as the last couple in this position weren't.

For us to keep Dufty it would mean some crucial strengthening in the halves, namely at five-eight. If our halves remain compromised we will need a better option at fullback - someone who is not so rocks and diamonds. I'm hoping Ramsey and Matt Fegai out do each other for the rest of the year to really strengthen that left wing position, otherwise it remains a bit of a weakness. Dufty may play a role in that a la Turbo and Saab. I think he has been trying but goes missing a lot.

I can justify keeping him if other positions out back are strengthened.

I can tell you what I do see with Matt F and only 2 other backs within our whole squad who can play 1-5..namely Rav and JP
Hitting the defensive line with speed and vigour in attack
Not saying matt F is 1st grade ready as has other deficiencies to work on and that may change after he gets smashed a few times but is a good sign and we need more of it which will also help getting our halves and forwards rolling through a bit more.
Not saying these guys have to be battering rams but look for holes a bit more and steam into those with a step etc. Most of our backs look to stop, prop or step through holes which is fine but from being flat footed or running cross field.

The Dragons Academy should be teaching these young blokes how to play the game. Does anyone know the list of players in the Academy?

Yep.

If he can become a more well-rounded fullback (I'd still like to see him get a crack at 6) I'd love to keep him. He's great to have, with his pace and those sweet passes he's developed...
