KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Dragons were down 16-6 at half time, so in a very positive sign, kept the Warriors score less in the 2nd half.
Did not think I would post the following comment this year, but after watching Stewart play last Sunday, I would be okay to see him picked at fullback, with Sloan to the wing for Feagai against the Sharks.
Tough game for the young bloke to play in, but I give us very little chance of winning, so why not give him a chance is my thinking.

I'd be tempted to give Sione Finau a jersey in place of Feagai. It's a long time since I've seen a Dragons winger with so much speed (just watched the Dragons V Wests KOE cup highlights from Round 16). He's a big boy and also brings the ball back strong. What is there to lose.

This season you have to search very hard to make a positive comment about the Dragons. But I think it is quite objective to say something good about the KOE Cup team over the past couple of months. After a shocking start to the season, they have now begun to string some wins together and today they came from behind playing away from home against a Warriors team ahead of them on the ladder, while missing regulars Stewart, Moga, Burns, J.Hunt, Fifita and Musgrove. Their for and against tally is now 0, quite an achievement after their huge early season losses.

It’s weird I’ve seen him in the flesh and he looked slow … rapid as in those highlights so perhaps he was carrying an injury

How do we not have the size of our reserves players. What a joke. They need to televise every reserve game too. We have highschool games streamed but can't do it with the reserves comps. Pathetic.
I am all for first-grade and reserve-grade teams playing at the same ground each week with 10 players from reserve grade sitting on the bench for first-grade. Introduce the rule, when you come off, you stay off. This would solve a few problems:

Fans would get a look at players with potential coming through.
Inexperienced players would get a taste of first grade.
Players could be promoted to the top 13 based on their performance of the bench in previous weeks.
The coach could include some backs on the bench.
A serious injury to a player would not come with expectations that he would play on injured to help out his mates.
No need for an 18 man rule.
