Any body know when and who his next fight is .I read a few weeks ago he was looking at fighting Sharmba Mitchell again early next year. Then going up one or maybe two weight divisions in a hope to fight Dela Hoya. But now Dela Hoya got beat he would probably decide against that now.

Technically Kostya didn't win that fight. It was stopped because of injury. Hatton is a real prospect. I don't think Kostya will wanna fight him.

Ricky "I'm a protected species" Hatton is to busy hiding behind his managers skirt to fight Kostya. If this fight ever did eventuate then KT would absolutely bash him. Getting a UD over a nearly eligible for the pension Vince Phillips doesn't make the bloke a superstar.

Mitchell might be a bitch but he sure as hell ain't a step down. Arguably he's the next best in the division and KT deserves a huge amount of respect for taking this fight after surgery and such a long lay-off. I have a bad feeling about this fight and just hope the fact that it's in Moscow in front of a home crowd will lift Kostya.

Those others mentioned above:

Gatti - Would be an absolute slugfest while it lasted. Kostya's got lead in his hands though and would eventually break him down.

Zab - Yeah I'd love to see Zab do his dance again. Doubt he'd want to get in with KT again though. I think that loss has really cruelled his career until KT retires.

Corley - Not up to it.

Vivian Harris - Pffffttttt.

Think I've managed to insult them all there

i didnt mean he would be a step down in class (even though he is compared to the kind of fight i was expecting him to take next), but its gotta be a step down in money.

I see Mitchell as a danger fight for Kostya. I hope he can win it. Anything could happen here.
Personally I'd like to see him avenge his Phillips loss and retire but $$$$$$ speak all languages.

Hatton is not running scared of Kostya, it's just that he was made to fight Ben Tackie before he steps up to the top 3 in the world. I think Hatton is approaching his peak now, and within the next 12-18 months the top fights have to come to him. Also, his reluctance to fight in America could hamper his progress, although I can see Frank Warren's point when he says that Manchester would sell-out for all Hatton's fights, the last one was 17,000 against Tackie.
