I find it bizarre that the NRL withheld the suspension until now. I can't think of anything like that ever happening before and in light of other suspensions it seems like a joke.

Regardless that means he'll make his return in the Round 16 clash against Cronulla.

I thought the same. When it was announced I was under the impression that he must have done something 2-3 weeks ago that was just coming to light not something that had already I thought been dealt with. Also since when do they give a 2 week suspension then the player has to meet with the NRL chief executive who may or may not decide if they can play? This last part may be bullshit as the article I read this in was from Badel.

It was raised on the other forum, but Victor Radley was able to serve his suspension before he was scheduled to return from a knee injury. If you can remember Radley assaulted somebody on Byron Bay and copped a $20,000 fine and a two week suspension but he wasn't due back until Round 4 regardless.

Kotoni Staggs will not play again this season as he suffered a high grade MCL injury in the Cowboys game. It has been reported on the Broncos website.
