...For moving the Manly-Eels home game to the SCG.

I myself have never been to a Rugby League match at the SCG, and the experience will be great fun I think.

Good work Manly-Warringah!

Ah the memories come flooding back! :D

plenty of great clashes Amigo :D

1976 GF
78 semi final and replay
82 major semi / Grand final
83 semi / grand final

there were a couple of one sided affairs I think you smashed us 20 nil in the 82 semi before we gave it right back to you in gf and I think we had you beat at 18 nil in 83 before Sigsworth went over.

great days!! great days!!

An Eels fan praising Manly management without satire or jest?

 Touche, my friend!

But I am really looking forward to this match.

Aside from the obvious fact that Manly-Parramatta matches are THE grudge matches of the season, I am excited at the prospect of seeing a League game at the old SCG ground.

It's good stuff, Manly.

i actually agree it will be a great experience but i wish it was a brookie close to home and our percentage of winning is higher there oh well playing parra anywhere is usually a great game to watch.

I completely understand what you mean.

In fact, I was a tad upset at first - because I thought it was our home game that was being moved.

It never feels right when a home game is moved.

But even so - IF it was the Eels home game that we moved, I would still look forward to the match.

It's an interesting concept.

Wow.

The memories must be great!

I wish they were avid League fans overseas....Then I would have gotten into the game way earlier and maybe be able to lay claim to remembering a truly great clash between our two great clubs.
