Best wrestler ever. Tragic that is has to end this way but his health is the most important thing. He's carried WWE for a long time now and the shows won't be the same without him.

I think there is something to this we don't know. There has to be.

No other release has had this much attention on the WWE.com website. He must have some form of no compete clause with any other contract for like 10 years or something, so they are pretty much guaranteeing he will be back.

Kurt was on a contract that guaranteed he would get $1 million per year, whether he was injured or not, so why would he walk away from that?

There is definitely something suspect. He definitely will be back, otherwise there would not be so much focus on him.

If he doesn't come back in the total capacity, I just hope he comes back and goes one last time with Chris Benoit in a classic and wrestles CM Punk at a major PPV and puts him over BIG TIME!

i hope for his sake that he doesn't come back wrestling full-time, the amount of damage that his body has taken from both his amateur and pro wreslling careers is large...he even says in his book (or at least the one i've read) that he doesn't want to get to a stage where he's so crippled and battered that he can't even play with his kids and have fun with them

i would love to see him come back in some non-contact role or maybe do the occasional match and as Paranoir said, put someone over big time

Apparently what happened with Kurt agreeing to leave was not as all happy as they made it to be.

I was just reading that when they reached the decision, Kurt left the WWE in building in a very pissed off state.

Apparently things between the WWE and Kurt are alot more sour than they first seemed.

Kurt to ROH and/or TNA could be a very realistic possibility according to Meltzor.

either angle actually likes vince or he threw coffee on him.

either way, i believe angle when he says he'll be back. and to be honest, i can't see him returning anywhere other than wwe.

these guys are so crazy at times. man just spend the rest of your life with your family. all the fans will miss him but family is by far the most important.
