Im actually invovle with alot of sport scolarship in GPS schools in Australia . The sad thing Ali is that alot of NRL clubs are signing up youngers and then send them to GPS schools to played 1st XV rugby .
The NRL clubs also pay for all the scolarship fees and uniforms which adds up to almost $80,000 a year .

I know NRL clubs do spend a fair bit of kids as young as 16 or 17, but what you are claiming is ridiculous. There would be lucky to be 1 or 2 school age kids on that sort of money!

Ali, There's alot of league signings that have been taken from their state schools to GPS and all paid for by their NRL clubs .
The $80,000 doesn't go the kids but to pay for their boarding, uniforms, books etc while playing union for their new GPS schools .
