Id be removing Holmes and Cook from that list. Theyve been 2 of our biggest problems to date. Too old and slow. Lose both of them
I actually believe Holmes still has something to offer but he needs a big bomb up his arse to get it to come out. I would drop him and leave it up to him whether he has the character to turn his attitude around, all with the hope that he does. Doing it before SOO might really get his attention.

I rate Egans 2025 games highly and if he is on $400k pa then he is great value

if Luc maintains his high performance he is miles ahead of Sua this year - incredible transformation by Luc. Serious impact and long minutes.

I don’t think we can extend Halangahu if we have to do 2 or 3 years for Sua

ideal world is if Sua signs on for 2027 and has a longer deal after at the Bears etc

2027 -

Luc, Egan
Stewart

Sua?
Ryan Couchman
Halangahu
Coutts
CSS
Tsougranis
Daniel Meafou
Hutch
Agree we have more than enough back rowers, and younger hungrier ones at that.
$1.5M on brain fade luchie and SuA could be better used on fullback and backline speed desperately lacking.

If only that was true

The greatest think we lack and we lack it in truckloads is cohesion ie teamwork whether it be in attack or defence.

We play like we all shook hands for the 1st time as we run into the field.

The only combination we have is either half to either edge forward on a turn back and under pass and even that is clunky.
It really is quite bizarre how basic our attack looks…all we do is winger hit up, 3 settlers, play 5 turn the ball to backrower running inside and into to traffic then last play bomb. (Often with limited chasers)
What post game video analysis do they actually do?

And no this isn’t to “back Flanno” though what he said in the presser is right. Who are we going to bring in from cup to CHANGE the game?
Well done on being the first of the apologist crew to post after another terrible loss, your other mates such as @maestro1 and @Crush are nowhere to be seen!

You're very vocal calling out players etc but you have never once questioned the coach which is just plain ignorance on your part.

We have now lost 10 in a row under this coach, he has done so much damage, the place is an even bigger mess now than when he arrived.

Please get a grip and start to call out our coaching related deficiencies.

If tu scores and Leilua didn't blow a huge opportunity we might of won it.
But it's the same stupid errors costing us tonight.
And couch running it and then not getting to a kick then Manly score.
Where is the communication saying its last tackle.
Reminds me of Sua's drop ball last year.

Typical Dragons comedy capers.
Agree, and if that was a one off week it can be explained away (like Penrith on Thursday) but, it happens to regularly to be random. Its habiltual with Saints. The narrative often used just have to work on the execution as though its some minor point and we’ll tweak it during the week…..The question is why aren’t they and why dont we see evidence of this change?

Agree! I think if they even did a simple run around i’d faint from shock!

Last night was another completely lackluster and insipid display under our inept head coach. Congratulations to everyone who has backed the coach who it is increasingly likely will coach us to our first wooden spoon in our history.

The score line flattered us thanks to the ref ball that we managed to get to close out the first half. Our three tries were all soft tries that we wouldn't score against a good team, so when super coach or anyone else says the effort was there, it really wasn't.

FMD it's not even the first time a team has scored off the kick off against us under Flanagan's tenure, anyone remember Jojo Fifita from the Titans doing the same thing a year or two back?

The way forward from here is to punt this coach who should never have even got the gig, give the kids a run for the rest of this season as it is a write off, source a new coach ASAP, give them full control of the football department and let's get on the long journey to watch our Dragons improve.

I cannot remember the last time any of our players contested a bomb.

Couldn’t watch the game as I had another commitment but I checked the score at the 53rd minute and saw we were up 18-16 and thought at least they are better than last week. But then I remembered they can only play for 60 minutes so it was no surprise when I checked again at 8pm and saw the score, yet another gas out 20 minutes it seems.
So for the poor people on here who did watch, did they run out of gas again at the 60 minute mark? Are they unfit or do they play a style that simply cannot be done for a full game?

And it’s been the same set of 6 all season. I don’t think it’s bothering our opponents.

Holmes, Suli, Leilua, Stewart, Cook, Liddle, Couchman brothers, Egan, Sele, Halangahu, Sele that's abit more then 5 we just have a shit coach with a shit game plan and a shitter attitude.
Suli is terrible. He is clearly not invested. I doubt he will get a contract anywhere after his current one expires. Holmes was better last night but has not looked like making a line break all season. Cook has lost his acceleration and without that, he doesn't have much. Our forward pack looks promising with both Couchmans, Stewart, Egan and Halangau the future. Just need to find them a decent spine and backline..........

On top of everything else….

Suli is not copping enough heat. Week in and week out his poor lateral defence and general lack of speed and agility on or near our try line results in tries for the opposition.

Where is his upside? Is it just running the ball out after kicks, because that’s not overly impressive either.
Can cut and paste this for Tuipolotu. I reckon you could put Blake Lawrie out on his wing and none of us would notice the difference.
