So tonight’s game.... Souths or Melbourne who do we want to win?

From the ladder perspective it probably doesn’t matter to much this far out from the semis. If we make it to 4th we don’t want Melb in Melb but that will play out I suppose.

We also don’t want Melb to put in a bad performance tonight and have Bellamy kick them all week before playing us next week.

Maybe that's why a Souffs win is better for us, we play the purple merkins next week and we have it all up to ourselves then. Plus we'll be on the same points as them if that happens. A one point extra time fieldy to Souffs with 10 seconds to go after they both bash each other to death.

Souths have a tough draw and they are our best bet to drop out of the top 4.

The key to the semis is avoiding the Melbourne away game. Very hard to win there. Referee Smith rarely loses.
