Lindsay Smith picked in the Australian squad!

Such great news and so well deserved. He really is developing into a complete footballer and I’m stoked he’s been noticed!

This will be huge for him and in turn, the 2025 Panthers.

It's really cool and well deserved. He reminds me a lot of Yeo in how he runs and tackles.

Its surprising but well deserved.

And for our club just a massive bonus. They always say players go to another level once they have played rep football. The fact that he is in the Australian squad and we have a recent vacancy in our front row with JFH leaving is just perfect timing.

Even paid tribute to Trent by doing a pitch perfect impersonation in the seventy ninth minute.

The spray that Luai gave him and the death stare was legendary.

Hopefully we have someone left in the squad for next year who has that standing within the group to deliver that spray/feedback when it's needed.

It went from 99.9% win chance to 99.5%.

The Storm had time to go score, decline the kick and then score off the kick off. Extremely unlikely but not impossible.

Don’t think that was spray tbh think he was just getting him to focus on the next minute.

But yeah we will miss that leadership from Luai. We’ve got it on other blokes but it so valuable having guys holding each other accountable and Luai does that for that left side. Luarie, cole talagi are going to take time to get that, they will be busy trying to get the spot locked down.

Luai is the biggest loss we have had in last 4 years.
100% agree.

The fact we lose players we have followed since they were debutants (and in the case of some of the people on here with closer ties to juniors and lower grades even before) is frustrating.

But by the same token I am proud that we are doing it the right way.
