Trent Toelau can't make the NRL side. Now a kiwi test player.

Atleast McLean just had a beast in Alamoti in front of him
He's a halfback. Pretty fair player in front of him. But he's just in the squad for now. He's not a test player just like Lindsay Smith isn't.
Wasn’t he captain for New south Wales juniors or was that his brother. I am sad for NSW either way.
Pretty sure it was Casey.

Not in FG. If he was a half than he plays over Schneider and might of actually got game time in the GF

Losing a half in a game where halves consistency is a catalyst for sustainability is the first real challenge we've had in years.

You can lose just about any other position and make it work if you have that continuity.

Long term I think he'll be the play and Schnieder is getting the run being a bigger body who's a better defender in straight on defence.

Trent missed some pre seasons because he was playing Sydney Shield or the equivalent. What really gets smaller guys ready for the NRL consistently is training year after year, after year, after year. You can't just mass bulk up straight away without becoming injury prone. It has to be over multiple pre seasons your body gets used to the muscle you're carrying around as you hit the gym and eat the right stuff then after a few years of that you really bulk up. And he missed out on that for a bit as did Luke I guess. He's just a little small now not to an unplayable standard in defence but not as good as other options but it'll get better over time or at least I believe that.
