Holmes was hobbling like a cripple on the right edge with his broken leg but we didn't send a single play that way and instead kept going left.

If we sent some traffic at Holmes at speed we are guaranteed to make a break and score long range.

Why didn't the halves see it?

Because our center took the field with a broken leg & wasnt much better, as per Holmes trys.

Val is a champion, he nearly single handedly won it for them on a bung calf.

On the other hand, Trindall went hard at Viliami Vailea immediately after Feldt went off. I doubt the halves missed the weakness caused by Felix going off. It just wasn't out there due to Jesse's injury

No he's a dog. He dogged our club & left us without a marquee player & we lucked into SJ.
He was against a cripple the other night who should be out for 6 weeks. He was lucky to get the 2 trys he did.
& his usual shit defense, is what let us break out such a great lead.
Moral of the story? The fans who laid at the temple of Felix, were the ones that cost us Barba.
We are now in that situation AGAIN. Did we not learn ? 7 year contracts FFs.

Got no argument there but you can't argue he's shit, if you are pissed because he left us " without a marquee player"
That means you rate(d) him?

I didnt know he was busted until he got injured.

Who cost us barba? He was signed for 2017.
A combination of the nrl f**king around in registering the contract and Barba not copping being sidelined for 12 weeks saw him sign with rugby. Val was his own form of mercenary and I’m no fan of him.

he wasnt our marquee player . He was a mediocre player who was quick who lucked out & played with quality players, be that Sharks or QLD. Unfortunately he was given god like status with niufty fans who buy the merchandise & next thing you know the recruiters roll over.
Its like when you get a new cheque book & a guy with surfy looks that makes middle aged women moist like a muffin..............etc etc &

Holmes being called mediocre is quite the lol.

He was one of the best wingers going around when he was on the wing and he's an elite centre with the ability to make a pretty good fullback.

There's a reason he's made a hell of a lot of rep teams over the past decade or so.

hes only ever played outside good centers. His defense is garbage. As soon as cows hada better player availabe he was punted out of fullback & out of center. Other than that he played for qld, outside good centers. Would have been interesting to watch him develop in the Tigers system. Hes fairly quick, easy to read left foot step. Thats it. Compared to Barba , he was a 3rd grader.

He means for next season. Holmes was asked to move on, whether it was because of salary cap or better players, or both, who knows.
Definitely not better players cos that cowboys backline is poo and Holmes shits on the lot of them. And I say that as someone who can't stand the bloke.
