He should of watched the past four games and seen why we had one , its the forwards laying a platform playing a deepstyle of attack
We just gotta "Get it done"

IMO Latu's offered plenty in attack with those quick bursts out of dummy half when the opposition are tiring. There's no way I'd drop him of the bench.

Thing is they're not tired, the other team has interchanged too. With most forwards only playing 60 mins at most, there shouldn't be tired forwards if they're fit.

im sure kearney is 5/8. if that was the case, bird would have played 5/8 with dykes from the start (since the tigers game)

I agree DPG, seems strange to play Kearney at 5/8 with Dykes but not Noddy. Will be interesting to see how they go together.

history clearly shows that behind a forward pack that does its job noddy is one of the best attacking weapons in the nrl

and the forwards are doing their job atm

Now that Kimmorleys back, I'll be putting the Doggies in my tipping. I have no faith in Kimmorley. He's living and playing in the past and while he leads us we will only go downhill.

Now that noddy is back, I'll be putting the sharks in my tipping. I have faith in Kimmorley.

Correct

If anyone needs proof of how much of a difference your forward pack makes to your halfback, think back to Round 22, 2002

Shall we not forget that the way the forwards have been playing also changed after Noddy got injured. Better directed.

If he plays his forwards at the line, as per usual for him, they won't do much of a job again.

I can barely even remember the last time Noddy got his pigs going forward. He tends more to kill them with hospital passes.

Thanks Jimbo, I knew it was a long time ago.

Thats right Frenzy.
If Kimmorley plays in the same vain as he was before he got injurred the poor old forwards will once again get belted by the opposition.
I'm looking forward to the game to see if Kimmorley will change or go back to his old style of attack.
He's got a real good chance to come good with the Bulldogs missing all the good players for SOO. If he fails.........LOOK OUT

Yeah I know I'll cop a battering.
It will be worth it if he can get back to the form of 2 years ago and fargs off that rediculas attacking game plan he's been using for 6 or so years.

I'll wait in hope.

Check out Round 24 from last year then

Or watch the NSW forward pack from SOO 1 and 2. I suppose it's Noddy's fault that Ryles and co. didn't turn up in game 1?

The playmaker is the director, of course he has to shoulder some blame from that match. His service was too slow and they got belted at the line.

Also I don't think using floggings where the other team is obviously RIGHT off it's game says much. It's about getting the team over the line in the tight ones. For every flogging you can find a loss as bad to refute the claim.

Hospital passes blah blah blah, here's a thought how about the players themselves stand a bit deeper, then he cant throw one, or maybe bodies in motion, so the defence is unsure and cant gang tackle the reciever.

I dont recall the storm forwards in 99 having to many problems with noddys flat passing.

A halfback cannot do his job if the forwards dont lay the platform, it has been proven over and over and over.
