Why change something that is working? We dont need him at the moment, if anything he will will do bad he hasnt played for 11 games, hes better off just sitting down until next year

like i said right now we are doing good but there needs to be another option on the field other than hayne. why would you leave such a damaging player out? i've seen plenty of teams bring their star players back after long injuries. sure some of them need a couple games to find their feet but you rather them find it now or during the finals when we can be eliminated? (thats if we make it)... i just think we'll have a better chance of making the run to the finals and a much better chance when we meet sides in the top 4 if mateo was there

Well, there`s two things. I`m glad Anderson has stated that he wants to reward the players who have gotten us into the position we are in right now. That shows me that he`s not just a ruthless, angry coach. That`s good. Secondly, we are in a position where, if we lose momentum, or lose a game, we might be history. So bringing Mateo in would be a risk. He`ll be rusty; and at the best of times he`s got a dropped ball or a loose pass in him. If we have an injury and he`s fit, then I suppose he`s the logical replacement. I would like to see him play a couple of games for Wenty first, though.

well lowrie, ben smith, galuavo and wright dont have a drop ball or loose pass in them? remember this is rd23 and wenty got the week off so if mateo plays a couple of games for them it'll be the finals and would you risk playin him then?

Joe is set to be out for 2 weeks isnt he? I would suspect he wont play even if the injury isnt as bad as first thought and Mateo will come straight in.

this is what im thinking, barring injury mateo wouldnt come in, rumour has it joe is out for a few weeks, therefore either a starting or bench spot beckons mateo imho.

I agree, the guys youve mentioned, even though have been playing good have also had a few mistakes per game. I think if Mateo were to play, the positives of him in the team would far outweigh the negatives or the mistakes he" might" make. His attack would be great and just the extra we may need to get to the finals.
