Like iI said you clearly dont know much about English RL if you think distance is a factor lol. It might as well be 1000 miles apart, hkr will never play in the west and hfc will never play in the east. Nor should they.

Sydney just doesn’t have the same level of tribalism as hull and clubs fans are spread throughout the city. Walk through parramatta and you’ll see all different clubs merch being worn.
Stop it I’m in stiches

Not like both hull kr and hull fc haven’t taken games to boothferry crescent in the past (if you don’t know where that is google it) when their grounds capacity wasn’t up to par and they needed the extra gate money to cover costs

Haha we’re going back hundred years now? Give it up your embarrassing yourself.
I just think it’s funny that someone whose lived all his life in the inner west of Sydney knows more about rugby league in hull than someone whose lived a big chunk of his life there

I genuinely wonder at times if your just joking about stuff or actually just don’t know

Wembley is the most iconic and prestigious sporting venue in the UK. With its rich rugby league history, it’s the perfect stage for a major event like the Challenge Cup, which is broadcast by the BBC.

Moving the final away from Wembley would be a mistake, and most UK rugby league fans oppose such a change. While attendance has declined, this is likely due to the Grand Final surpassing the Challenge Cup in importance.

No other stadium would have the same impact. Relocating it up north would be a step backward, potentially allowing another sport—such as rugby union—to take our place at Wembley.

Hull FC and Hull KR played matches at the old Boothferry Park while it was home to Hull City. Notably, this included two cup finals in the 1980s—the Yorkshire Cup and the John Player Trophy—both of which featured Peter Sterling. I know because I was there.

The 82 kangaroos played the 1st test at Boothferry Park also.

At that time, all three Hull teams had their own stadiums: The Boulevard, Craven Park, and Boothferry Park.

Originally, Hull FC played in the east of the city and Rovers in the west. However, Hull FC effectively forced KR out of The Boulevard by offering a higher rent, if I remember correctly..

The rugby league rivalry between Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers is unique in British rugby league, as they are the only two clubs from the same city. If you live in Hull and follow rugby league, you’re either FC or Rovers—there’s no in-between.

The rivalry is intense and, at times, has been brutal. This was especially true in the 1980s when both clubs were thriving and had large away followings, often resulting in clashes on matchdays, both inside and outside the grounds. "Bloody Sunday" in 1981 comes to mind, along with family fallouts and deep-seated divisions.

The idea of merging the clubs or even sharing a stadium is simply unrealistic. Only those who don’t understand the depth of animosity between the fans would suggest such a thing. Maurice Lindsay, anyone?

Clashes on matchdays still occur. Mindless morons still abound at FC v KR matches.
