As I have said before there is no money left for new signings of any significance on the 30th june that Is gauranteed.But I can confirm that we are chasing 2 players.
One of them is an outside back and the other a prop forward.
Coach Sheens is more than happy with the players that are coming through the ranks which is quite obvious with the talent thats available.We are close to signing a couple of kids from the north coast(Newcastle).

Benji has settled in well at down town Homebush with his flat mate.And still has no car,but it would help if he got up off his arse and goes to get his licence as his been told on many occasions.
Now on another subject goal kicking.
My brother had mentioned to me at the game,"why is'nt Covell kicking the ones from the side line,even if he is not in great form and least he gets the distance as opposed to Hodgo"

Well apparently Sheens sent the word out, that Covell is to kick the ones from the side line,but apparently Covell did'nt want to kick dont know why but that's what happened.So dont be surprised if you see Covell taking the ones from the sideline in future.The side this week is the same as last week which is no great scoop.
P.S......There will be no significant signings for the beginning of next year either.
Because money has been allocated and promised to certain individuals who's contracts are going to be severely upgraded next year.

Retaining who we have at the moment is our priority. the other juniors wil come along to fill in the gaps.

A bit of both the money and the cap.Apparently they want to spend as astutely as possible because with the upgrades of contracts they dont want to be left short of paying the players what there worth.With salary caps it is a tedious process im told.

PL players im told.The first grade players that are going to be available are not going to be signed by us that's definite.Unless they want to come for peanuts.

The one player we should be chasing is Frank Pritchard.He`s a Campbelltown boy to start with,His younger brother is still at the Magpies and as Penrith should be having a lot more cap problems than us,he should be very affordable.There is also the fact that he should be a definate starter,if not in our top 17 every week!

The june 30 deadline is so as clubs have an opportunity for first crack at there own players.We have'nt signed nor are we allowed to sign but all im stating is that the players we do end up signing will be of no first grade standard at present.

i dont see how how we could be close to the cap. I cant see that many players we went all out on maybe Prince Hodgo and satts but that should be it i thought we would have a bit more money 2 play with

Let me put it this way,A player that they are interested in whom we have'nt spoke to of course. Is a player that I would'nt know him if I triped over him.
