Question to Magpiemax;who is it you think we might sign or who would you like us to sign?

Let me put it this way,A player that they are interested in whom we have'nt spoke to of course. Is a player that I would'nt know him if I triped over him.

In which direction might you trip over him?

I Speak to someone who is part of the management. I would'nt say he is a great friend but someone whom i've busted his chops on so many occasions that he sometimes tells me things providing I dont ring him every day.And funnily enough we have a light friendship now.

Hopefully one of those players whose contract's will be upgraded, will infact be the man carrying our forward pack in John Skandalis. First priority in my opinion.

Actually its Abraham's mother who wants the kid out of the club, Frank on the other hand loves the place and wanted to stay here but got offered a chance with the Panthers in which the Wests Tigers didn't offer him anything thats the difference - Frank still trains even now with his Wests Tigers shorts on ;-)

I think unless their is a top of the range player-we should stay out of the market--Sends a wrong message to all the young guns.We have nearly all positions covered well--maybe a centre,could come in handy.I think 2006 we may need to replace guys like sattler--but at the moment,i would be looking within the club--dont forget if another 2 teams enter the comp in 2006-some of our youg guys will be in big demand-so we have to make them feel part of the place

Dont worry he will be spoken to. But strictly not before june 30.As we never speak to anyone before then.

Im assuming that Lang leaving may free up some money for them to keep Pritchard.

Some times you have to pay a little over the odd's to get some one you want.Unfortunately other clubs think the same way.

if its a young prop from newcastle i hope its dane tilse. he's a young prop up at tyhe knights who has been tipped for big things, but has a couple of other players ahead of him atm. would be handy pickup for the future.

and im glad we dont necessarily want to spend much this year on new players. we already spentmost of our cash last year and the rest should be saved so we actually have the cash when we need it in the future. cash aint exactly in plentiful supply and id rather it gather interest in the mean time and then extend contracts when necessary than just spending it cause we have it!

and there aren't exactly any name players who are worth signing for us anyway. apart from maybe pritchard and the likes..but we dont really have much of a need for them yet anyway!
