This guy has got to go. He is an absolute clown with f**k all coaching skills. On paper, the Brumbies have one of the most exciting attacking backlines in the competition. This f**k-up has managed to somehow drive that out of them to the point where they don't actually look like they know what they're doing when it goes wide - it's as though it's foreign to the players to play the expansive, running game that the Brumbies became famous for.

Even worse is the fact that, somehow, the powers that be are touting this no-hoper as the future Australian coach

Whilst I will concede that he has the Brumbies defending well, that's about all he has. It's about time the ACT board started making him accountable for his results. Whilst it is true that we were a whisker away from having a 100% record to start the season, the way we have played we actually deserve to be on 0/4. This is not down to the players, who clearly have the talent, but the coaching.

Laurie Fisher must go!!!!

f**k me dead. What a diabolical performance by the Brumbies. They just had no imagination in attack, almost as though they don't bother training for it. Fisher must go NOW.

Yep put him back under the bridge where you found him and get a coach with an ounce of tactical thought.

Still can't believe you ever axed Nucifora.

Get rid of the old man at halfback and get some new players...

The players are not the problem. The players are sticking to the game plan. Hell Fisher even admitted after the Blues game that he had no interest in coaching attacking rugby.

Kafer exposed his game plans for what they are last night I thought, with his brilliant in-game analysis... completely lacking in imagination.

Fisher was given a new contract last season as a reward for leading the Brumbies to miss the finals in consecutive seasons (the first time ever) whilst Nucifora was sacked for taking the Brumbies to the title. Unbelievable.

every time i see the brumbies perform badly i laugh and think of how they axed Nucifora even though he won them the comp (although to be fair they axed before they won it)....they look absolutely pitiful when you compare their performances this year with the brumbies teams from a couple of years ago

Looking like one of the bums you'd see in the tunnels under Town Hall station probably doesn't help his cause...

Comeon that's jumping the gun abit.

If you watched any of the Australian teams in action this season they have all been terrible, lacking any sort of attacking flair, composure, structure etc.
I have watched nearly every Super 14 game this season and when the Brumbies do get it right (and they will) they will be on par for the top 4.

I firmly believe Laurie is the right man for the job.
Seeing what he has achieved with the Vikings is testament to this.

But look at how the Blues are going. Missing 5 All Blacks and topping the table, despite being less than impressive last year. And look who's coaching them....

The Vikings is about Laurie's level. In two and a half years the Brumbies have shown absolutely nothing of the flair or performance of the past despite retaining much the same player base.

It reflects on him as a coach. He's just not up to it at this level. The sooner he goes, the better.

looks like old laurie could be the cream of the aussie coaching crop after yet another dismal showing by the big names...
