Leadership changes?

Does anyone foresee any changes to the leadership group for 2013?

If Matt King's injuries persist, will we maybe see GI replace him as one of the five captains?

Note sure whats going on with King as he is still training,I could see Merritt being added.

Indeed. There are plenty of players in our squad who possess leadership qualities.

Unlike Ben "Runaway" Creagh.

Just out of curiosity, how many 'leaders' can you name who choose to use fist fights as a way to settle arguments?

Tony Abbott was accused of throwing a punch into a wall at university to intimidate the poor woman he lost to.

Then you have these politicians, dunno their names....

Ahh.. the irony of that statement to call Abbott a leader..

His peers deemed that someone else was more suited to the role of leader, and his alleged response was to throw a punch?

Looks like his peers got it right..

btw.. also a fail... this is a photo from the turkish parliament..

a good measure of how well a country is goverened is by looking at their economy..

using the index of economic freedom (feel free to look it up..) we can see that turkey has come in ranked at no. 69 in the world.. behind kazakstan, but ahead of such economic powerhouses as slovenia, mongolia and ghana.. (FYI australia is 3rd in the world).

i wouldn't be using their politicans as good examples of leaders either.

Well done Muzby, you have managed to derail yet another thread.

What started out with a question about the leadership of a football team, has become a discussion about the economic wellbeing of Turkey.

What's next? We haven't had a rousing discussion about the lack of available education in Zamibia for a while in these parts. Perhaps we can move on to that?

Stop making me your scapegoat...

One of your own brought Ben Creagh into the argument, and another of your own brought Turkey into discussions..

And seeing as you asked about Tanzania, their education system is sub standard, despite having primary, secondary and tertiary options available. The UN ranks them 147 in the world..

:lol::lol: One of the funnier posts of this off-season.

And to answer your question Muzby; no, I don't know of any 'leaders' who shove their opponents and then run away like a coward. They're not really leaders if they can't cop the consequences of their actions, are they?

Please watch the actual footage.. you'll notice Creagh pushes hodges out of the melee to stop it escalating..

But hey, I wouldn't get too hung up on the facts if I were you...

I've always been against having 5 captains. IMO it should be a singular word. Have a leadership group if you want, but at the head of that group should be ONE captain.

I'd have Sam or GI. With Reynolds as heir.

Well with Asotasi, King, and Crocker(?) uncontracted beyond 2013 we might see a smaller captaincy group.

Sam Burgess
Jason Clark
Greg Inglis
Nathan Merritt
John Sutton

GI's not a captain. He's nowhere near vocal enough.

It should be Crocker, and Sam should take over in 2014 if and when Crock retires.
