Mad Dogg said:Oh, one more thing. To avoid one team getting the home advantage, we'll be using the new feature where you can play at someone else's stadium. I haven't used it myself yet, but it should be easy enough to figure out how to do it.
Oh i have absolutely no idea mate :? ...it doesn't really bother me either way, so if your happy to go ahead i will accept it.chileman said:Does it have to be on neutral ground because I challenged you today amigo at your ground....I thought Mad Dogg said it was just an option if you wanted to play elsewhere!

Mad Dogg said:Basically what we want to do is have no team using the home team advantage (basically raises your midfield by a bit). Actually, home team is a bit of a misnomer. Any team from that state will get the advantage.
As such, when two teams from the same state play each other then you can play wherever you like. If you play in that state (could be at one of the two teams' arena or some other neutral arena in that state) then both teams will get the advantage equally. If you play outside of that state then neither team will get it. As most of the teams are probably from NSW, most of the matches fall into this catergory.
It's really only when two teams from different states play each other that it's preffered to play somewhere neutral, so that the result is the fairest one between the two teams. Find a team from some other state and use their arena.
It's not a huge thing so I'm not going to penalise or anything for playing at an arena that favours one team or the other. Bear in mind that this is only a friendly competition, most of us care more about the training it brings than the actual results of the matches. As such, if your opponent challenges you for a match at their home ground and there's not much time to arrange a neutral match, then just accept that challenge. If there's still plenty of time then perhaps counter-challenge them at a neutral ground and HT-Mail them explaining why, but make sure you log on say Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning so that you can accept the original challenge if they haven't come on to accept the counter-challenge.
Hmmm, I hope that isn't too confusing. :? Just ask if you need some point to be clarified.
As for this weeks games, all have been booked except for Sri Lanka vs Avalon and Ernesto vs my own Wolves.
That's Professor Amigo to you. ;-)chileman said:Did you go to the University of Hattrick amigo  need a Degree to get all that in my melon
