Does anyone know when the next elections are due?

You can't do that from the football club, they only look after the NSWRL comps like Peremmies and Flegg etc and have no say at all in NRL operations.

You only need to be a member of the Leagues club to go after Fitz, it's the Leagues club that appoints him to the Parra NRL.

He has never really been challenged, or should I say his board has never really been challenged.

The last real tilt was the famous Ray Price led charge, but that was ill though out bloody amatuer hour stuff and was never gonna win.

All you need is three things:
1. A couple of high profile names.
2. Some people who know how to run winning campaigns
3. $$$$.....local business support.

Next Leagues club elections are April 2005.

This Board has been challenged in 1999 by the NPT, the NPT lost convincingly.

I am a member of the Leagues club and the voting member of the football club.

Also remember that 3 members of the football club board must sit on the leagues club board.

To be a member of the football club you must have 2 other members sponsor your application. Once that is done you have to wait 3 years for voting rights.

Voting happens in the middle of December at the AGM.

Was a member when I lived in the area though. However, I live more than 5km away from any club, and don't have to join any. And I've been inside 2 clubs in the last 3 years.
