Can’t get rid of the Win directors at all. For the St George Directors, they managed to avoid the giant meteor strike that took out the other dinosaurs… so good luck.

So what do we do, to get these imbocilic Board people out ?
Unfortunately this is the only way to get them out. I’m just warning that the plan has been undertaken without success previously - by someone with a credible ‘St.George background’ taking on doust his mates. @Willow really pushed it last time, promoting the elections on the forum but still came up short.

Thanks Rod. There was a thread about it and I have mentioned it numerous times in other threads. Good to see the discussion resurfacing. Some points...

- By joining the St George Leagues Club as a voting member (NOT an associate member), people can get together and attend the club AGMs, usually held in March.
- The first objective of any group should be to get organised and keep people informed.
- Work out exactly what Agenda you wish to bring to the AGM.
- As a group, it is important to get in touch with people that have been down this path before. For example, people who have tried to run for the board. They'll know the process and pitfalls.
- For those who say St George LC are only 50% of the JV, well that's a sizeable chunk of influence.
- For those who say it's impossible to break the board's control of the Leagues Club, I can tell you that every time there has been a push, even a failed push, positive changes have happened. Having someone inside the tent for even a short while is better than being on the outside - ordered agitation does shake things up.

Supporter representation makes a difference.

Went to join today & the Full Membership offer is no longer available only the Associate Membership is now available. I asked the bloke doing the memberships when the Full Membership offer finished & he couldn’t tell me.

Well that's so par for the course. Looks like the Stgeorge Board is worried.
They are eliminating any chance of being voted out.
What scumbags this incompetent Board is.😡

They always try to talk people into getting the associate membership by saying "it's cheaper" etc.
I don't believe they are allowed to flatly refuse full membership. Might need a follow up.

lol. Right, I know someone who wished they knew that before making enquiries. Getting the facts right is pretty important.

As we have just seen, it's best to make queries and check the facts. Doing so avoids misunderstandings or overreactions. Becoming a voting member is not an invitation to engage in name calling, doing so will just result in people walking away from the table.
I know this is an internet forum and people tend to post stuff they might not say in person. But even here, the key is to remain courteous and focussed. Think about what is the best way to shake things up and look for positive outcomes.

So how did that theory work for you?
