Its not bad... drags on a bit though.

I personally think Presence is their weakest album.

Of course, I couldn't leave a thread dedicated to Led Zep without having something positive to say. My personal fave is Going to California... either from IV or How the West Was Won. Take your pick. :D

i liked presence garbs

nice and tight

though it wasnt popular it was one of their finest musically

fave song - ten years gone - great guitar piece in the middle

worst song - almost all of led zep 1

most boring self indulgent rubbish - dazed and confused from the movie

:D

I probably like presence least but, a damn fine piece of work none the less.

My Fav is probably phys graf. Mind you when the levee breaks off '4' just kills me as does galows pole off '3'

ps, check out the website of my band. Which one I am will remain a mystery. The link is posted on my sig.

Whole lot of love, with headphones on after a some sweet smelling..............

That is the extent of my musical knowledge.

I agree that its tight musically... but I find it boring. Doesn't do anything for me. I'd rather something loose, sloppy and loud from Zeppelin. Like Bonham's 20 minute drum solo in Moby Dick on HTWWW... although I know how much you love drum solos... ;-)

I've only got re-masters and the live DVD set, and love Achillies. In fact I love pretty much all of their long form and heavy songs. Also Love "in the evening" from those sets as well.
The only stuff of theirs I can't get into are some of the more extreme bluesy tracks such as "Since I've been loving you".

I reckon that is a great track although some of the slower blues can be a bit much.

You didnt like Led Zep 1??

Good times bad times has a special place for me as it was one of the first 'rock' pieces my teacher taught me on guitar! Babe im gonna leave I like to and think it builds nicely at the chorus.

Another I like simply cause i got into it when I learnt it on guitar was Hot dog of In through the out door.

Jimmy was a little sloppy but hey it sounded fun to play!
