Leeds United just wont give up, leaving it a bit late against West Ham yesturday :) Former Crystal Palace midfielder Shaun Derry scored the winner with 5 minutes left to give mighty Leeds a 2-1 win!!! Had we not won this game we surely would have not been able to come 4th - 6th. With a favourable draw ahead, Leeds are still a chance of scraping into the playoffs :D Equal 9th now, 10th by goal differential 8)

Yeah im not getting my hopes up but things are coming together at the right time. Be fair to say we've now got one of the better squads going around and our form is improving steadily, so just maybe we can scrape in.

If you asked me what my thoughts were at the start of the season i would've settled for somewhere around 12th -18th, would've been realistic considering the situation we were in. Its a real credit to Blackwell and the team to have us sitting 10th at the business end of the season and only 4 points out of the playoffs, who would've thought?

lol, well considering your still above us, crap's probably not the word i would use. And my mistake, we drew and beat you, not beat you both times.

haha, yeah, Derry and Hulse seem to have added to the quality of the squad like a dream. Now we all we need is Johnson and Bakke to return to their best and we'll be sittting pretty.

Just make sure Derry is never played at centre back, I still have nightmares of when we lost 5-0 to Wigan last year...

And wasn't that the match where some Palarse fans smugly held up "5-0" banners to celebrate the first anniversary of a 5-0 defeat of a certain other team a year earlier?

Don't you just love it when irony comes back to haunt you!

Not really, that actually turned out to be the best result of the season. That result lead to getting Kember sacked and Dowie brought in, the rest as they say is history. 5-0, we beat the scum 5-0!

Anyone see Hulsey's goal this morning, a gem, lucky to get a point, though we'll take it. 3 points off 6th now!

I'd like to think that they were only 3 points off 6th but the reality is it would be 9 points if West Ham win their next two games :( Hopefully they will be held to draws at the very worst.

The good news, however, is that the next two matches are against 2nd and 3rd last teams (as they currently stand) :D

Deffintley looking reachbul, where not giving up.
Hulse is a valuable player to our squad and hopefully we can keep him longer on loan.
The game against Millwall yesterday we were trailing pretty much up to the end, but Gary Kelly played supberb and came close.
We've got a squad worthy of a play off place, and even if we don't reach them then we'll have a squad who have bonded ready for 2005-2006!

Come on the Whites!
