Leeds turning the pace up and trying to catch Toulouse out on fitness before half-time. Get a penalty for slowing the play down.

Take a tap and continue forward, making yards on the left leading to a Lauitiiti try through a gap left by centre Estebanez after a Diskin pass.

Burrow misses from out wide, Leeds 22-12 with 3 minutes until the break.

Bai makes a break along the sideline following the kick-off, but a loose pass is batted back by Toulouse defender. Fullback Murphy tackled over touchline, but penlaty awarded for second tackle.

Toulouse score on first tackle after spreading the ball and back rower Raguin makes a break past Walker, takes on the fullback and crosses for a 40m try.

They're not dead yet! Couturier gets the goal, Leeds 22-18 right on half time.

Great break on halftime by Toulouse, unlucky not to score. Murphy (?) put into a gap inside his own half and runs 40m. Good follow-up work, but Leeds shut it down on the last tackle.

Wow, this is fun! A much better contest than I expected.

Have been impressed by Toulouse's composure - ever time Leeds get a score, they look to hit back. There's no heads down or anything, and they've got some very good players.

Quick run-down of who has impressed:
Hooker (Cedric?) Gay - good service from dummy half.
Half and captain Wynne - an aussie, but he knows when to run and when to spread the ball.
Raguin - big back rower but runs strong and beats tackles out wide.
Stand off Mullhall - been a good foil for Wynne, and also comes into dummy half sometimes.
Backs - Couturier, Estebanez, Lima all take the ball back strongly in the early tackles.

The bit where Leeds is getting them is when they make some breaks and put some quick play the balls on. The Toulouse guys don't have the fitness or speed to get back in the line quick enough, and that's where the gaps are.

But Leeds defence isn't committing today, and there are lots of Toulouse opportunities for offloads and for steps to create gaps. Leeds pushing the pass a bit - sometimes it comes off, but sometimes it gives simple turn-overs.

Leeds lose the ball on the second tackle after the kcik-off. Mathers spills it in a three man tackle. Toulouse scrum feed 20m out from Leeds line.

Good pressure, two dummy half runs almost get to the line. Grubber kick to ingoal finds Mathers who passes to Bai, who is still trapped in goal for the drop-out.

Lauitiiti down injured in front of the posts, delaying the game a bit. Ref asks trainer to move him to ingoal, but he gets up.

Toulouse receive ball on 40m line.

Toulouse turn over ball on a early tackle after a wayward cutout pass from win has to be kicked ahead by Estebanez. Senior regathers for Leeds in their own half.

5th tackle on 40m line and Maguire puts up a mid-field bomb. Taken by prop Bailey who breaks the front rowers law and tries a kick himself. Air swing and knock on, turnover to Toulouse.

Toulouse make yards, but replacement back Almuzara is hit high, and Toulouse get a penalty out wide on the 30m line.
