hey guys,

my sister in-law was looking into a dvd type of business thingy, she now makes dvd's for weddings and other things in movie maker for friends but doesn't sell them....she wanted to know about copyright laws re having music in the clips/dvds, as she is thinking of selling them. So if you have any info on the copyright laws re this subject i would appreciate it if you pointed me in the right direction.

cheers.

I have one tip.

Consult a lawyer. You won't get legal advice on here.

Best tip.

Don't listen to any second hand legal advice or googled advice you can get on this forum as you don't know what you're gettin. Talk to a professional about it. First thoughts by myself is that you need some form of permission to use the music if you're selling the media, but talk to someone who knows best before doing anything else.

I would be interested in purchasing some dvd's of honeymoons. To avoid a fee I will not require music in the background.
