Well at Leichhardt again and as i was there against Manly the crowd went nuts and saw the mighty Tigers rise to win. Lets hope we get as many as we can this weekend and give the tigers that extra spirt.

Is Hayne the ref? :(

Should be a bumper crowd....it WAS the first game for Leichhardt (Manly game) but we were coming off a hammering from Saints and the bye too, still got a great turnout. Now were coming off two good wins.

Remember what Satts said, even though he's usually "in the zone", he heard us at the Manly game, as did Sheens, and we definately spurred the boys on. Lets let this Sunday be no different.

I recon 16,500

If we keep up our form and win some good games between now and the souths game, then the game agaist the storm should be about 15,000 and the souths game should get up to 17,000-18,000

Thats IF we keep up the form that we are in!
And i base this on the crowd numbers that penrith got as they improved throughout the 2003 season

16, 000 permitting good weather. But we should be getting around 18, 000 for this game. Sunday arvo, two local teams.

Im really excited about this game, i was pumped last weekend about the amount of support we got up in gosford, so i can only imagine how much better it will come sunday arvo. Parra is traditionally Leichhardts strongest drawing game when it comes to crowds too, it could be hard to move come 3pm sunday? 8) 8)

What's the capacity cause I think this game will see a big crowd.

If its fine a big crowd should be expected and given that the Wests Tigers are now on a roll I doubt we will see anything but a great crowd at the Den

My prediction for the day would be 15,749

some website said 20,000. i doubt it though. i would think 19,000 MAX!

but if the tigers are going well i am sure that 25,000 could fit....somehow

I may be being a LITTLE biased But i would Argue with most that TIGERS have a Very spirted fan base. through all the trouble we have had we stuck it out and it starting to pay off

A survey from about 2 years ago revealed that Wests Tigers are the most supported NRL club in the country..... the fans just didn't come to games because we always lost

That survey would be pretty close to the mark. Remembering both clubs in Balmain and Western Suburbs had been established for 92 years before the Joint-Venture was formed. That's alot of support over alot of years through many people, far and wide. The nature and essence of the partnership would have saw 2 out of 3 people support the concept, although perhaps more would have dropped off, due to the lack of success and controversy expereinced in the early years of the Joint-Venture. Success is everything. "If you build it, they will come"...

Tigers till death!!!

Record crowd at Leichhardt was about 22, 000 against Penrith in 1991 I think (???). But those shitty stands are a no go zone now. You could get 20, 000 in.

Easily the most supported team on the Central Coast (aside from the Knights)!!

The crowd stats from the Eagles stint there prove that (aside from saturday night)!!!
