Hey panthers fans, tell me.....

Has Luke LEWIS ever started a game or played in the second row or lock for the panthers.

Cheers

I can't recall him ever playing in those positions in 1st Grade.

I've been wrong plenty of times before though.

Not to my knowledge. Only wing, centre and five-eighth.

And I don't think he has the build of a Ruben Wiki or a Gene Miles to make the move to the forwards in the modern game. 5/8th will be the closest we ever wee him to the centre of the paddock.

It's certainly an unusual method in getting him to the centre of the paddock!

His best position in my view is on the wing.

Is solid at centre but lacks the acceleration to make regular line breaks, beat players one on one or create opportunities for his winger.

Lewis is good finisher but needs others to create the opportunities for him.

You are right Killkenny. Our best bet was Wing, but her went to Souths.

That's a first Fibro. You actually agree with something I have said about the Panthers. I feel so humble.

You should be humble Kilkenny. I heard Russel Crowe and Peter Holmes a hyphen were chasing you for the Bunnie's forum.. Russ heard about your intellectual insightes into the game and wants you as a moderator on the Bunnies forum.. I heard there was some money for offer, and if you don't take the offer. He will get his minders to sort you out good and proper.

I suspect Lewis and Rooney will be under pressure to remain with the Panthers.

Both on contracts of the status of international players but both are no longer rep players.

The emergence of Jennings, signing of Tighe and a number of rep juniors coming thru would suggest there days are numbered. Lewis is still playing reasonably well and could slot back to his best position on the wing in future Panthers sides but the future looks bleak for Rooney.
