Liam Foran signs for storm

I've just read that a team mate of my brother has signed for you guys!

He is a brilliant player and is on the Australian Schoolboys Tour to europe this year, alongside school playing partner Mitchell Pierce.


You guys have a got a talent of the future there...well done!

brendo, does your brother play for the Bears?

I heard that Liam might be signing with the Storm.

He is currently playing Premier League for the Bears, which is a pretty good achievement for a Year 12 student.

I would have liked to see him stay at the Bears because he is a local junior and has come through the junior rep teams at North Sydney.

In fact i think he would have been a good chance to get a starting spot at Souths NRL in the next year or two ahead of Jeremy Smith or Joe Williams, while at the Storm it looks like Cooper Cronk will be starting halfback for a while to come.

Great news, if I was a half I'd want to spend the next 10 years firing balls to Greg "the best back since Reg Gasnier" Inglis as well.

Dont worry, if he's good enough Cooper will back go to his proper position at 5/8.

Nah ild love for cronk to stay at halfback...his kicking game is awesome! and has a pretty good passing game...seems to lead the troops quite well...should stay at halfback IMO.

He has played mainly halfback but also a bit of 5/8th or fullback in SG Ball.

Yeah North Shore Marist is producing some good players. Is your brother planning to trial for the Bears SG Ball or Jersey Flegg for next season?
