Appears we are linked to Liam Fulton from wests.

What is he like would he be any good for us.

We need a no 6 rather than a second row some talk about converting him to a half back !

Liam Fulton is a lock (and a very small lock at that), Tidy defender and some ball playing skills, but all in all he's nothing special at all, average first grader at best.

Watch our Rnd 1 match last year. Basically played 5/8th. Coincidentally one of the few times Lawrence looked any good all year.

Nothing from camp concord would suprise any more. At the back end of season 2008 Fulton was probably our most creative ball player. From where I sit I think the tigers are lot better side when Fulton is playing.

Why dont we offer the Gaints some of other surplus stock, Junior Burger would make a great no7 in ESL, Payne and Gelea would offer plenty and we could throw in Teflon and Royce

Salary cap difficulties- WTF? How can WT be in salary cap difficulties- for crissakes we havent even signed the 25th squad player yet......

Fulton - I dont mind if he goes- he is a good lock forward but he is not particularly versatile- if the time in ESL can increase his versatility and gives him new opportunities why not? WT can afford 1 small back rower and I'd prefer Halatau over Fulton simply because Halatau is able to cover more positions.

I'd take Fulton over Halatau to be honest. Halatau has no ball skills and suspect hands. He's a poor man's Brendan Tuuta.

Fulton can play both sides of the ball.

Actually, I'd be much happier if Halatau went and Fulton stayed.

Those things may be in the mix- Halatau is contracted only till end of this season, Fulton till end of 2011

This isn't anything new, the club was trying to offload Fulton to the Warriors at the end of 2008. I thought when they offloaded Bronson to the Raiders that they had balanced their books, now it looks they have a way to go.

They must be using a fair chunk of the cap to locks some juniors in, their cant be any other reason except maybe we are paying overs big time.

Teflon plans to buy one quality player a year???Next year we will than probably have 18 contracted players--the top 17 plus junior burger. It will be interesting to see what pans out or if indeed their is somthing going on behind the scenes re the CC'S (carney and cocker) lets hope so

This could be a trade off to get ESL support for WT application gain supoort and approach NRL to sign Carney for 09 rather than 2010?????????????? (especially if the rumours are correct that it will be lawyers at 20 paces if Carney cannot play in NRL in 09 since not allowed in ESL with visa restrictions)

Any chance they are making room for Robbie's and possibly Benji's upgrades in $$$ or is that just wishful thinking?
