Lining up for Zap's job Brad Earl

THE Parramatta Eels are looking to appoint their new football manager from within.
Tony Zappia, who has held the position for the past seven years, was announced as Cronulla's new chief executive last week.
Eels CEO Denis Fitzgerald said Zappia's position had already been advertised internally.
``We've got a few good people who are looking for a step up the ladder,'' Fitzgerald said.
``We'll be conducting interviews probably by the end of this week.''
Zappia's role involved the Eels' administrative operations, including contract negotiations.
On game day he was effectively the NRL team manager, a role he has also filled with representative teams such as NSW junior teams and City Origin.
Zappia, from the Fairfield area, is a life member of Parramatta's district club.
