is it possible? cos i now have 3 and it's a real pain in the ass because i can't be on any at the same time, otherwise it automatically logs me out of the other.

I tried just before and I don't think it will let me. Anyone know of any loopholes or something?

Not sure I understand what you mean, so apologies if I miss the mark here...

But if you open a new page, click for the drop down menu under your name you're signed in as you can the click on "switch account" to add one or two more to be open at the same time. You still have to click to switch to them but you don't have to keep logging out/in each time.

Thanks CS, I have since done this, but this is what I was hoping to do:

When I had hotmail way back when, I was able to link a second hotmail account AND my uni email all to the one. So I was only ever logging into my main one and anything sent to the other two addresses automatically got forwarded there. Also, when I would compose a message, I would have a dropdown option at the top of which address I would be sending it from.

I can't seem to do any of this from gmail.

You can forward email from any number of accounts to a primary account. That way you can check all of the email addresses with one log on. This wont help if you want to respond from specific accounts rather than the primary account.

You could use a dedicated email client - Outlook, Thunderbird or any number of other clients are available. Then you can receive email in the one application, file it based on the address and respond using any of the accounts as well. If you use IMAP as the protocol you will also have access using the web client as you do now.

Go Settings > Accounts and Import > Add POP3 account, and add your other Gmail accounts. Piece of piss.

Then you can have different coloured labels for each mail account which makes sorting easier.
