Lions vs Pumas

Did anyone see the game this morning ? As a free flowing game probably not that great with a lot of dropped ball. But in saying that the Pumas who were epected to get roggered put up a great display and I thought they were robbed. 25 all at the end of play and it took a Johny special 8 minutes into injury time to get the draw aft the Lions couldnt get across the line to win the game.

I expect the Lions to be hammered in the press in the next couple of days. But it was a Lions C team as it was with the Pumas.

Pumas didnt have any of there french club players.
The last time the Pumas came to NZ without there french club players they only just defeated Thames Valley & Counties Manukau.

argentina supposely had 29 first squad players unavailable.

You wouldnt have picked it they out played the Lions for 70mins of the game just a few dropped balls at the wrong time cost them a couple of tries.

they did enough to draw and confuse 4 million kiwis.

the lions are a better team than that.
