Half these kids have never heard of Poppa Clay Twiz.

FTR, Poppa did play at lock.

In fact, he was originally signed as a lock forward before moving to five eighth. Also played in the centres for a bit.

I think the reason most people don't like the dragons is because their players only have to play one half decent game and all of a sudden they are origin players. Because they are such a wellsupported team they get the channel 9 games and therefore allthe media attention.

Justin Poore is a prime example. I always thought he wa sh*t, but he was a dragons player so he had to be good and was picked for origin. Then he leaves and IMO plays to the same level but can't even get a run on the bench for The bench for country.

If Beau Scott was say penriths center, do you honestly think he would be anywhere near origin?

I don't like the Dragons because their supporters are delusional, but with regards to your Dragon player = rep player point, I can't get past the irony that they'll throw Dragon journeymen into Origin and yet their most valuable player who is a specialist where NSW are weakest, is disregarded completely. And lol at panther Scott getting picked for Origin.

Not sure if you noticed but the dragons were MP last year and are sitting on top again this year. Surely that would indicate there must be someone in the team playing decent???

Or are you like a nsw selector who for some reason believe that the nsw saviours (gallen Barrett pearce and odonnell) are awesome yet their teams are (assume storm have points) last, 14th and 11th... Just doesn't make sense to me.

The other bit I don't get is the massive call for Douglas and snowden. Yes I think they are decent players, but look at it this way, nsw would then have 4 players in the team, plus have tupou and other former rep stars, why are they sooooo terrible??? Maybe cause these guys are average at best yet stand out in their real ordinary team. Just some thoughts...

Also, the drags get ch 9 games cause they rate well... I would rather they played on fox (better commentators and always live) but unfortunately it doesn't happen.

Hell yes. I am dragons die hard through and through. I have admired Bennett for years. I have had his quotes around my room for years. Regardless of what team he coaches, he is a very intelligent man from whom we can all learn something, from not only his football but also his philosophies on life. And I couldnt agree more, he needs an official position asap!!
