Beattie and Ryles would be good buys for the Storm as would El-Masri for his goalkicking but there is no way we would fit them under the cap.

:p :p

Not sure how accurate that list is. I am certain that Chan and MacDougall signed 2 year deals when they signed with the Storm last year, and there are plenty of names missing from that list!!

Would it be worth giving Mark Tookey a chance over here?

According to the Storm webiste Chan and MacDougall are listed as signed until the end of 2005. I've sent an email to the Storm seeking clarification.

Looking at the list of players I dont see any I'd rather have then our own players of contract. Storm will be doing well if they can retain as many of our players as possible.

Paul Gallen and Chad Robinson go alright. And wouldn't break the bank either.

He hasn't signed with anyone yet, but he has definatly been released. At the right price he could restart his career in melbourne.

Next year there will be some better talent coming off contract.
With Kearns and Kearney maybe retiring then, thats when we should snap some big players up.
