In regard to the next game, if, at any time this year, someone had said we'd be playing without both Matulino and Lillyman then I'm sure we'd have seriously doubted our ability to win.

Oz, you missed the Hoffman injury, which came at a crucial time. The Hurrell suspension was a bummer too. At that stage he was first pick. We could have done without Thompson's injury too, as he had found some good, damaging form at that stage.

Funny thing is I'd be quite confident of our ability to win minus Mutts and Bull if the rest of the side were fit, our forwards have developed well, it's backs and halves that are the big problem now.

A lot of factors mate, injuries killed the start of the year along with an ownership change behind the scenes and a certain Greek individual trying to clean out a lot of people who he felt wronged him, and Toovey was on that list. Heard that he was gone before a ball was kicked this year. Heard last week that there have been 10 ACLs this year and Manly has 4 of them so not your year when shit like that is happening


Hopefully next year will be a lot more settled and they can work off a better base

So going into next year

Losses: Plenty - Tomkins, Laumape, Fish, Rapira, Friend, Havilii etc etc we know

Gains - RTS/Luke/Sao and you can pretty much pop in Henry and Leuluai in too as they barely featured.
