That thing Beadman rode in the 2nd Race at Randwick was impressive.
Sychophant(or something like that) missed the start and was back last and won pulling up by a couple of lengths.
Didnt beat much but gee it looked good.
Started a bit short too.
Think it paid around $2.10 but it won like a $1.04 job.
Dont know it'll be a decent price anytime soon though-can only hope.

That thing Luke Nolen rode at Sale yesterday(Race 2) looked pretty damn good too.
First start 7 lengths easing up.
Eskaw.
1 ride for Nolen 1 winner.
Backed it like they knew it could run too.

Oh ok. I just saw it was scratched. Was going to see if they had it nomminated for in town somewhere...

It's to be treated with caution though... The winner of that trial ran second in a maiden in Newcastle I think it was. It and Sway Me Now beat Plagiarize by 5 lengths. Hawkes would have just given the filly a nice little workout before the Silver Slipper.

But still, I'm going to have a little on Sway Me Now when it runs...

She also had barrier 13 today which wasn't good.

Eskaw raced at Warwick Farm last Saturday.Finished 4th beaten 2.2 lengths behind Regal Cheer,Mnemosyne.
Bit of a step up in class on its previous outing.(Sale)
Started 16/1 ridden by R.Quinn(had inside barrier).

Not sure if many of you guys use the online blackbook at racenet.com.au

I was just in there putting La Montagna in mine and noticed you can now put in - stable, sire and dam as a blackbook selection...

This is great!!! I'll be wanting to follow the first foal out of Plagiarize Unless you have access to a studbook that you pay for, it's hard to keep track of that kind of stuff.
