Who watched it and what did you think?

Saw some great stuff although in liited quantities... Rize who played in Tokyo, a band i had not heard of before, were awesome.. Shakira surprised me, i never thought of her as a bit of a rocker.. she's hot too....

The 12 piece girl band who played in Shanghai were awesome.. Can't figure out what those in the front were playing.. Does anyone know what instrument that is?

All round what i have seen so far has been great..

I am still trying to decide whether Jane Gazzo looked hot or like a buggly-eyed freak...

HAHAHHAHAHA
Well if you compare her now to the way she used to look back in her ''recovery'' days well she looks hot now.

I didn't see any of the international gigs but I thought the running order in Sydney was a bit out.
Jack Johnson after wolfmother seemed very odd....I literally fell asleep on the lounge when old Jackie boy starting monotoning along .

Crowded House were obviously the highlight in Sydney.
Finn is a genius and how comfortable did his son look cruising along up the back on the acoustic guitar.

They actually got better when the lights went out .
I also think the new drummer added a bit of punch to all the old classics .

WM's Guitar was very muddy.
You couldn't differentiate between notes in main riffs like woman.

Dunno what the point of playing that double neck gibson (that probably coast an absolute motza ) in white unicorn was for.

They sounded heaps better at the triple J gig televised by ABC.

I think it could've been a bit lost via TV.

Why would MS be involved with banning smashing pumpkins songs?

As for Live Earth I didnt see any of Sydney, I heard eskimo joe on the radio and they sounded abysmal, I think I heard New York but not sure, trying to block out the memory.

I saw Metallica and they sounded alright but at a concert with so much differing tastes its funny to see a metal band try and rev up the crowd who also are there for Madonna!!!

Anyone know who the rap type band at wembley was, they were dressed in greyish suits, there were 3 of them, one curly hair one in a sort of small top hat, white guys not black type gangster 'F U hoe i wanna shoot yo mamma' type stuff....I dont know who they are but they peformed OK.

I saw Dave Matthews and K T Tunstall aswell, both of whom were ok from what I saw.

Yes, after a search on them it was the Beastie boys.....have never (knowingly) heard them before but I thought they were entertaining for the 2 songs of them I saw.

As much as I love the B-Boys, I find it hard to watch them live.

Didn't see their live earth set but from my experience they've been hit and miss. I didn't particularly enjoy their set at Big Day Out a couple of years ago, but they went off at the last Good Vibrations festival.

I dont know if you would consider their Live earth performance good or not but my view is from someone who had no idea who they were and doesnt particularly like that style of music but found it ok.

Real fans of them may not have liked it, I dont know what they are expecting.
