Lockyer: Fullback or Five Eigth of the Decade?

Final poll before we can determine the team of the 2000's.

The question may appear simple but really, it's asking two questions.

Firstly on Darren Lockyer and it's where he made the most impact as a player, at fullback or at five eigth.

The other question is, who would you rather see make the team of the decade? The electric Billy Slater or the classy Brad Fittler.

Personally, I haven't seen a better fullback in all my time of watching Rugby League than Darren Lockyer. Every part of his game was immaculate and he went over and beyond what a fullback should be.

I also believe Fittler was a better footballer than Slater so it's a win/win.

This decade - heather's best has been pivot. Yet he has had nowhere near the impact of Fittler in that position. Or Slater at fullback.

Id say 5/8th just because more of his achievements in the game have come from him playing there.

But once again I can't comment as I wasn't really into the NRL while he was a fullback.

Fittler deserves the 5/8 spot ahead of him, was a better footballer.

Lockyer was also an amazing fullback and probably at his best there.

There is no way in hell Slater should be in the team ahead of Fittler.

The gap between Fittler and Lockyer at five eighth is negligible but the gap between Lockyer and Slater at fullback is substantial in comparison.

I voted fullback because Fittler should be in the team before Slater is imo

I don't see why Lockyer can't be named at fullback and 5/8th in this fictional team if he got the majority of votes in both positions.
